CRUSH OF SOULS NEW ALBUM + VIDEO PREMIERE

One year after Lézire, Crush of Souls is back with his third full-length.

The musical endeavour of Charles Rowell (Crocodiles, Flowers of Evil, Issue) is just like its creator: always cooking up something.
Captive Youth leaves goth rock and dark folk aside and heads towards 80’s old school EBM.
After all, any album exploring themes of dystopia, politics and sexuality requires a strong rhythm. So how could this not mention timeless classics like Technique by New Order, Belief by Nitzer Ebb, Towards Thee Infinite Beat by Psychic TV and Pressure Points by Anne Clark? Crush of Souls album #3 has got the energy of the wandering worker poet, warehouse basslines and artillery fire backbeats, romance and melancholy wrapped in barbed wire. All this and more in nine tracks still delivering that confusing-sexy urban vibe that is the project's trademark.

First single Sudden Death streams today on all platforms & official video is up at YouTube.
Captive Youth is out 19 June on limited pink vinyl LP and digital.
Features collabo hit single with Sade Sanchez from L.A. Witch.
Mixed & mastered by Maurizio Baggio. Back cover illustration by Zudesnikk.
