PROFIT PRISON NEW ALBUM + VIDEO PREMIERE

Let's welcome back the herald of dungeon synth pop Profit Prison.

Four years and one pandemic after his latest EP, Seattle-based solo producer Parker Lautenschlager is back from his shallow grave!
First full-length album Gilt marks one further step towards the dark corners of italo/hi-nrg body music, with longer jams rich with typical vocals and melodies, reminiscent of OG synth masters Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, buried in the mix and waiting to drag you down in one sulfurous dancing spiral.

Lead single Sophia juxtaposes some weirdly camouflaged vocals with one heavenly chorus that seems willing to revive your fortunes while it literally sings "But I lost it all". The perfect soundtrack for a bad dream on the sofas of Studio 54. Official video by Jesy Fortino aka Tiny Vipers streams now on YouTube.

Album art by French artist Robin Roche delivers the best medieval-punk vibe.
Gilt is due on 26 April on Lime Green vinyl, Black vinyl and digital.
