Spanish futurepop duo SDH is a specialist in shedding skin and gladly combines new heteronyms in their upcoming sophomore album.
On Fake Is Real they go out once again in search of nightclubs that are familiar, but never obvious.
Produced by Kris Baha, their dress code transcends the categories of darkwave, to dress as mischievous EBM, with accessories from new dance, acid house and disrupted but melodic techno, skimming at times electronic psychedelia.
First single Denial is out today on all digital platforms and it starts from a tribute to Pasolini and to absolute denial, it sounds wayward and the message is an anarchist categorical. We hear influences drawn from the Prodigy and Faithless but this is just so personal, you can't mistake them with anybody else. Delightfully dystopian official video by Pilar Gost is out too.
